What about delivery & installation (D&I)?

In Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and where ever we have Vu stores D&I (wall mounting) is free of cost but for other places we charge as per the transportation and fitting. What about after Sales Service?

With all Vu products you get free 1 year service from the company. Zenith service centers are in 450 cities Vu also provides extended warranty at 10% product cost for 2nd year. Another 10% product cost can be paid for 3rd year. This would be the last year for extended warranty. After 3rd year : Visiting charges : Rs 1000 Service charges : Rs 1500 Replacement of spares(if any) : As per the cost of the parts replaced

What size of LCD’s does Vu have?

Vu LCD TVs range from 32” to 55” screens. Vu LCDs are available in 32”,40”,46” & 55” size. HD ready is 32” Full HD are 40”,46” & 55” Customized Designer frames for all LCD sizes are available at an additional cost.

What is the difference between Plasma & LCD TV?

Plasma works on Gas filled Tubes & LCDs work on Liquid Crystal Display. The life of plasma is much lesser as compared to LCDs. The power consumption is much higher on plasma as compared to LCDs The maintenance cost is much higher on plasma than LCDs. There is reflection observed in Plasmas and not in LCDs. The LCDs are better and modern in comparison with Plasmas

Do these LCD’s have USB port?

This USB port is available in LCDs of 32”,40”,46” and 55” size. With USB connectivity you can connect your pen-drive and watch your photos or play your videos also.

Can it function as monitor, besides a TV?

Vu LCDs have PC-In port (VGA port). With this port you can connect your CPU/laptop to your Vu LCD. Vu 40", 46" and 55" have PIP (Picture In Picture) mode, which enables viewing TV and PC connected simultaneously

Why are Vu prices lesser than other LCD brands?

Usually other brands like Sony, Samsung and many more manufacture their products and sell them through the dealers. Due to which the commission increases and finally the price. But here at Vu we manufacture our products and sell our products through our Vu stores across the country. So the commission stage is skipped and even the price remains lower. Moreover ,there are lesser overheads as Vu has a direct channel system.

Why is Vu not assembled in California?

In India LCD’s run on PAL system and in America it runs on NTSC System. In America the LCDs work on 110 Watts whereas in India LCDs work on 220 Watts.

Why made in China?

Only the casing of the products is made in China as it is cheap to make the casings in China compared to India whereas the parts are from Japan. The final product is from India itself using the Japanese technology. Other companies also manufacture casing from China itself.

What do you mean by A+ grade panel?

Superior A+ grade panels are usually used in advanced countries like Europe, Japan and in applications such as military, aviation and medical instruments. These A + grade panels are almost twice or thrice the price of the normal A grade panels. Usually the defective pixels in the LCD are observed as bright or dark dots on the screen. But Vu provides quality A+ grade panels which not only reduces the dot effect but is also cost effective. Only 15-20% of the market is of A+ grade panels due to its high price. Vu ensures that each of its customer experiences Luxury in all aspects.
